NUPEC^® FELINE Hypoallergenic

Formulated for the species-specific particularities of cats with adverse food reactions. Its central active ingredient is hydrolyzed salmon protein as the sole source, with a lower likelihood of being recognized as an antigen. It includes mandatorily supplemented taurine, high protein (30% DM) for the obligate carnivore, and intestinal barrier support with five components (glutamine, sodium butyrate, FOS, MOS, and chicory inulin). Designed for use as a diagnostic elimination diet for 8–12 weeks and as long-term nutritional management.

Any change in diet should be gradual. Mix the previous food with NUPEC^® FELINO HYPOALLERGENIC in a 3:1 ratio and gradually increase the amount. Keep in mind that each cat's nutritional needs vary depending on size, sex, breed, activity level, physiological stage, and ambient temperature. in patients with severe anorexia, consider assisted enteral nutrition (nasoesophageal or esophagostomy tube) prior to voluntary dietary transition.
